Born in a restaurant, not a boardroom

The founder's first restaurant job had a dumbwaiter elevator that carried food from an upstairs kitchen. The name stuck, but the mission changed.

Dummy Waiter exists because order-taking has not changed in decades, and the people who do it deserve better tools. This is not a tech company guessing at restaurant problems. This is someone who lived them.
